Purpose

You use this program in the component Organizational Management for Public Services (PA-PM-OM).

You can use the program to edit the control variable for positions or to obtain an overview of the proportions of the control variable entered in the system.

Integration

From a technical perspective, the control variable is data records of the infotype Original Budget (IT 1520).

Prerequisites

You can use the program only if you have activated the use of the control variable in the Customizing activity Activate Use of Control Variable.

You must also have made corresponding settings in the Customizing activity Define Global Settings for Control Variable.

Features

Selection

The required data entry can be subdivided into two areas:

  • In the top area (Objects), you define the selection of objects to be processed. You have the option to define a set of root objects. On the basis of this, the system determines the object set along the chosen evaluation path. The period covers the processing period specified in the bottom area.
  • In the bottom area (Processing), you specify the function to be executed. For documentation on the processing options supported by the program, see Control Variable: Processing Options.
Depending on the function chosen, the program provides additional parameters. These are contained in the group box Function Parameters. For the documentation for the respective parameters, see the defined F1 documentation.

If you have selected the Parallel Processing checkbox, the system provides additional parameters that you can use to process performance-intensive processing steps in parallel. This enables you to achieve runtime gains when processing large amounts of data.

Standard Variants

The following standard variants are provided:

  • SAP&DISP: The function '0DISP1 Overview' is a fixed preset.
  • SAP&SYNCH: The function '1SYNCH Synchronize with Planned Value of Position' is a fixed preset.
  • SAP&DISP_TRNSF:The function '5SAP&DISP_TRNSF Display Transfer Postings' is a fixed preset.

Output

The program displays the processed records in an ALV output list.

SAP recommends that you first execute the program in test mode and check the output log.
