RH_DELETE_SPECIAL_CHARACTERS - Deleting Special Characters in Tables of OM Column Configuration

Purpose

This report deletes entries that contain the special characters ú and û in the relevant tables for managing column configuration in the Free Search area of the object manager. These entries can no longer be used in a Unicode system.

Integration

Prerequisites

This report can only be run in non-Unicode systems. The special characters mentioned above are no longer used in a Unicode system (see also SAP Note 977942).

Selection

If the report is run with the parameter Test, no entries are deleted in the relevant database tables.

Activities

It is not normally necessary to perform any activities since these entries are automatically deleted before the Unicode conversion.
