Purpose

You use this program to destroy data using the archiving object HR: E-Recruiting - Candidates (HRRCF_CAND). The archiving object destroys all candidate profiles and data on candidates for whom no applications or candidacies exist (any longer).

You can use the preprocessing program to automatically send e-mails to candidates to inform them that their data will be destroyed soon if they do not log on to the system. Candidates who have already deregistered will not be sent an e-mail.

No data is deleted from the database during the preprocessing phase.

Integration

You have the write program RH_RCF_ARC_CAND_WRI available for the archiving object HRRCF_CAND. You run the preprocessing program before you start the write program for candidate profiles.

Features

The selection criterion Last Logon Date is available on the selection screen of this program. If you specify a date here, mails are sent automatically to the candidates that most recently logged on to the system before this date and whose profile was selected to be destroyed during the next data destruction session. The candidates receive a reminder mail requesting that they log on to the system if they want their profile to remain in the talent pool. Otherwise the profile is destroyed automatically.

Activities

Start Archive Administration (transaction SARA) for the archiving object HRRCF_CAND to schedule the preprocessing program.

If you want to use the reminder function of the preprocessing program, run the program each time before you start the write program. Schedule the preprocessing program far enough in advance that the candidates have sufficient time to log on to the system. If you use the preprocessing program only to register structures and tables for the archiving object, you only need to run the program once and not before each data destruction session, unless a new structure needs to be registered.
