SAP E-Book

Purpose

This report cleans internal database tables that are used to export compensation data from the SAP ERP system to SuccessFactors Business Execution (BizX).

Integration

This report is based on the logical database PNPCE (HR Master Data Incl. Concurrent Employment) and uses the report class HRSFI_SY.

Prerequisites

Features

You can use this report to delete entries that the report Replication of Employee's Compensation Data (RH_SFI_SYNCH_COMP_DATA) has generated in the following tables:

  • SuccessFactors: Comp Log Table for Errors in Delta Handling (HRSFI_D_COMP_ERR)
  • SuccessFactors: Comp Log Table for Status Information (HRSFI_D_COMP_STA)
  • SuccessFactors: Comp Log Table for Transfer Data (Delta Log) (HRSFI_D_COMP_EXT)

You usually run the cleanup report after the process for transferring compensation data is complete, meaning when the data export from SAP ERP to SuccessFactors BizX, the compensation planning in SuccessFactors BizX, and the data import and data activation in SAP ERP are all complete. However, you can also run the report during the process, for example, to delete delta information and thereby completely retransfer the compensation data for employees to SuccessFactors BizX.

Selection

Period

You can specify the current day or any key date or period for which the selection is made.

Selection Criteria

You specify for which employees the data is to be deleted. You can show other selection fields that the report class HRSFI_SY provides.

Settings

You can specify for which compensation group ID the data is to be deleted. To delete all table entries, leave the selection field empty. To delete only table entries that are not assigned a compensation group ID, choose the Multiple Selection pushbutton, select the Single Value (=) option, and leave the value field empty.

Note
Since the logging behavior was changed, the log tables might contain entries that are not assigned a compensation group ID. All new entries are stored with the compensation group ID. For more information, see SAP Note 1949794.

Mode

You can specify that the report is to perform a test run.

Standard Variants

Output

A log is displayed, which informs you of the number of employees for whom the data has been deleted successfully.
