RH_SFI_CLEANUP_VAR_PAY_REPL - Clean Up Internal Tables After Exporting Variable Pay Data

Purpose

The integration add-on stores a copy of the extracted employee variable pay and related data that was transmitted to SuccessFactors HCM Suite. This data is temporary and stored only for calculating delta changes for repeat transmissions. At the end of the variable pay cycle, this data is no longer required and can be cleared using this report. Specifically, you can use this report to delete the entries generated by report Extract Variable Pay Data from SAP ERP to SuccessFactors HCM Suite (report RH_SFI_SYNCH_VAR_PAY_DATA) in the following tables:

• SuccessFactors: Variable Pay Log Table for Errors (table HRSFI_D_VARPY_ER)

• SuccessFactors: Variable Pay Log Table for Transferred Data (table HRSFI_D_VARPY_EX)

You usually run this cleanup report after the process for transferring variable pay data is complete, that is, when the data export from SAP ERP to SuccessFactors is complete. However, you can also run this report during the process, for example, to delete delta information and thereby completely retransfer the variable pay data for employees to SuccessFactors (you must also delete the data in SuccessFactors variable pay before retransmission).

Integration

This report is based on the logical database PNPCE (HR Master Data Incl. Concurrent Employment) and uses the report class HRSFI_VP.

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

Selection Criteria
Specify for which employees the data is to be deleted. You can show other selection fields that the report class HRSFI_VP provides.

Settings
Enter the variable pay program for which you want to delete the variable pay extraction data. You can delete data for only one variable pay program at a time. If you have multiple variable pay programs, run the report again for the next variable pay program (that is, you may need to run the report several times).

Mode
If you select the Test Run checkbox, the program simulates the cleanup without deleting any data.

Standard Variants

A log informs you of the number of employees for whom the data was successfully deleted.
