Purpose

This report triggers an OData API call to SuccessFactors HCM Suite to import to SAP ERP the information for candidates who are ready to be hired. After the candidate information is imported, this report triggers the import of data from SuccessFactors Onboarding for the further processing of the imported applications in transaction HRSFI_ONB_HIRE. There, the HR administrator can check the data and complete it as required, and then use a personnel action to transfer the data to the SAP ERP system.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have defined how the SuccessFactors Onboarding fields are to be mapped to the SAP ERP fields. You do this in the Customizing activity Map SuccessFactors HCM Suite Fields and SAP ERP HCM Fields.

Features

The report does the following:

  • Uses a Web service to import the Onboarding data.
  • Checks whether all the fields marked as mandatory in the mapping are filled.
  • Transfers complete data records to the application for the further processing of imported applications.
The report ignores any data records that have already been imported to SAP ERP and are in completed status.
  • Transfers data as per filters specified in the selection screen

Selection

Enter the field set to be used for mapping data from SuccessFactors Onboarding to SAP ERP. The input help shows all available field sets that have been defined in Customizing.

Enter the number of days to restrict the data import from the SuccessFactor Onboarding system. If you specify number of days in selection screen, the system imports data for applicants that were created within the time window of today and the number days in the past specified in selection screen.

Enter the Applicant ID if you want to import specific applicant data.

Standard Variants

Output

A log informs you of the number of applications for which the data was imported successfully and the number of applications for which the import failed. If errors occurred, the applications are listed with the relevant error messages.
