RH_SFI_IMPORT_VARPY_DATA - Import Variable Pay Data for Employee

Purpose

This report imports variable pay data from SuccessFactors HCM Suite so that it is available for payroll in the SAP ERP system.

Integration

The report is based on the logical database PNPCE (HR Master Data Incl. Concurrent Employment) and uses the report class HRSFI_SY.

After you have used this report to import the variable pay data, you run the report Activate Variable Pay Data for Employee (RH_SFI_ACTIVATE_VARPY_DATA) to activate it for payroll. For more information, see Activate Variable Pay Data for Payroll.

Prerequisites

• You have defined how the SuccessFactors fields are to be mapped to the SAP ERP fields. You do this in the following Customizing activities in Customizing for Integration Add-On for SAP ERP HCM and SuccessFactors HCM Suite -> Integration Scenario for Variable Pay Data:

• Maintain Variable Pay Program Information

You can find the corresponding template ID for the variable pay program via logon provisioning. Choose the company instance and navigate to Company Settings -> Form Template Administration.

• In SuccessFactors, the APIs are available for importing variable pay data.

Contact your Professional Services team or the customer support team provided by SuccessFactors.

• In SuccessFactors, you are using suitable form templates for the variable pay program that provide the data of your choice.

• In SuccessFactors, you have turned on the variable pay ad hoc report domain ADHOC_varpay_bonus_payout. You do this in Provisioning by choosing the company instance and navigating to Company Settings -> Ad Hoc Report Builder. The variable pay data is extracted only from a completed form.

Features

Selection

Period
You can specify the current day or any key date or period for which the data is to be imported.

Selection Criteria
Specify for which employees the data is to be imported. You can show other selection fields that the report class HRSFI_SY provides.

Default Settings
You can make the following settings:

• Specify which field set you want to use to import the data. For more information, see Field Set for Importing Variable Pay Data from SuccessFactors.

• Specify which variable pay program/form template ID you want to extract variable pay data.

Variable pay data is extracted from SuccessFactors object ID ADHOC_varpay_bonus_payout, the variable pay ad hoc report domain.

• Specify which content the SAP ERP system extracts for the SuccessFactors field USERID. Make the same settings here that you use to extract employee data. For more information, see Options for USERID and Run Extraction of Employee Data and Organizational Data.

Standard Variants

Output

A log informs you of the number of employees for whom the data has been successfully imported and the number of employees for whom the import failed. If errors occurred, the personnel numbers are listed with relevant error messages.

In addition, all messages generated by the report are listed in the Web Dynpro application for monitoring the transfer of data from SuccessFactors to SAP ERP (HRSFI_MONITORING_VARPAY).
