Title
Conversion of Internet Customers to Consumers
Purpose
In the Internet Application Component (IAC) SAP Online Store, you can manage customers as consumers. Use this report to convert existing Internet customers, which you created as persons in customer master records in SAP Online Store prior to Release 4.6A, to consumers.
Integration
Prerequisites
Use the report Creating Personal Addresses for Internet Customers (RINTCON_P) to ensure that there are no Internet customers without personal addresses.
Features
To preview the results of a conversion, test run the report.
Converted customer master records have the consumer account group defined in Customizing for Business Partners in the activity Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customers (transaction OVT0). During conversion, general data (address fields and fields from the table KNA1) is checked as follows:
- That all fields that are Required entry fields in the new account group are filled
- That all fields that are Suppress or Display (inactive fields) in the new account group are not filled
- You can have these inactive fields deleted during a conversion. SAP recommends this.

Output
Following conversion, information on every customer master record involved is displayed in a log, for example:
- Customer number
- Customer name
- Required entry fields that have not been filled
- Inactive fields that exist or that have been deleted
SAP recommends that you check customer master records for consistency. You can access them directly from the log for maintenance.
