Purpose

You use this report to collect the table size statistics and the corresponding index size for data analysis in ILM Reporting Work Center.

Integration

Prerequisites

You must configure the Database Statistics Collector (DB02) to collect the table size statistics.

Features

You need to run this report regularly once a week. The collected statistics help you to:

  • Analyze the growth of the table size for a wider range of dates
  • Optimize the Reporting Work Center to determine the top N tables and archiving objects

Selection

To run the report, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to transaction SM36.
  2. Schedule a weekly job for the report RIRWC_DBSTAT_COLL.
