Purpose

You use this function to copy Legacy Extraction Workbench (LEW) configuration maintained for a particular mass transfer ID to another mass transfer ID. The configuration is copied form Context Data Extractor (CDE) tables and tables from archiving objects.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • A source mass transfer ID and target mass transfer ID exist.
  • The archiving object definition in the source MT ID is consistent.

Features

You can copy LEW configuration (archiving object or CDE) maintained for the source mass transfer ID in the target mass transfer ID. To copy the configuration, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the Source MT ID Configuration.
  2. Select the Target MT ID Configuration.
  3. Select the LEW configuration (Archiving Object or CDE).
  4. Choose Execute. The applications associated with the selected Source MT ID Configuration appears. This window displays the following based on the selection:
  • CDE - All of the applications associated with the selected Source MT ID Configuration.

Note: The system checks whether the configuration has been copied to the Target MT ID.
  • Archiving Object- All archiving objects associated with the selected Source MT ID Configuration.

Note:The system checks whether the object definition is consistent, whether the object definition already exists in the Target MT ID, and whether all of the participating tables are extracted in Target MT ID.
  1. Select one or more applications or archiving objects.
  2. Choose Copy Selected Config. Rows. The logs are displayed. Each row will be updated to indicate the copy configuration status. In the case of archiving objects, if the object has been copied completely, this is indicated by a green traffic light. Otherwise a red traffic light is displayed to indicate that the object has not been copied completely. In the case of CDE, even if some tables have been copied, the green traffic light is shown.
  3. Choose Continue. The configurations are copied form the Source Mass Transfer IDto Target Mass Transfer ID. If the configurations are copied successfully, a check mark is displayed in the Status field.
