Purpose

You can use this program to automatically generate WCM objects:

  • If necessary, it activates work clearance management for orders.
  • It generates all WCM objects and assigns them to each other.

The system bases the individual WCM objects on the following:

  • The system uses the corresponding order as a basis for the work approval and the work clearance application. It copies the planning data from the order. It takes the responsible work center from the order header to use as the work center.
  • The system uses the WCD template as the basis for the Operational WCD. It copies the planning data from the order.

Integration

Note that the assignment is always at order header level, even if you work with work permits and have defined that the user can assign a work permit to individual operations.

Prerequisites

Features

You can use the following options when generating WCM objects:

  • Include orders to which the central WCM object is already assigned.
  • Automatic preparation of generated WCM objects.
  • If you run the program in dialog mode, you can determine manually which of the orders selected by the program are to be used to generate the WCM object. In this context, the program allows you to assign orders to existing Operational WCDs with the same template (you specify a selection variant for finding these), instead of generating new Operational WCDs.
