Description

Do NOT execute this program for new installations

The intervals of the number range object ISB_RBKBEW are copied to the new number range object ISB_UMSATZ.

Object ISB_RBKBEW is then no longer used.
The customizing functionality and the number assignment now refer to the new number range object.

Reason for change
The old number range object for account turnovers ISB_RBKBEW was created with the To fiscal year indicator i.e. the number assignment was controlled by fiscal year.
The database table for account turnovers does not meet this requirement.
To avoid double entries, create a new number range object without the fiscal year indicator and set it to correspond with the number range in the account turnover table.
Since the fiscal year is not taken into account in the account turnover table, unique number assignment is also no problem.

Affected data

The intervals and number statuses of object ISB_UMSATZ are entered in the number range table NRIV.

Technical conversion

Creation of the intervals in number range object ISB_UMSATZ on the basis of the intervals in number range object ISB_RBKBEW.
The number status is derived from the highest account turnover number.
The interval limits are determined on the basis of the highest and lowest interval limits per company code.
Intervals which already exist in the target system are not overwritten.

Effects on the applications

When you customize the number range interval for account turnovers, the system no longer differentiates according to fiscal year.

Output

The log tells you for which company codes the conversion was and was not successful.

Error handling

If intervals already exist for a company code, they are not overwritten by the program.
Once you have deleted these intervals you can restart the program.
If you do not want to overwrite the existing intervals, make sure that the number status matches the account turnover numbers which exist in the system. You must not start the program a second time.

Rescheduling

The program can be rescheduled.
