RJBRXP03 - Conversion of Data Element JBRBEWREG in Applicable Tables

Description

This program belongs to the application SAP Banking Risk Management (component IS-B-RM).

For technical reasons, the name of the data element "Valuation rules" is changed in release 4.01A (from JBRBEWREG to JBRBEWREG_). All affected tables and structures are automatically adapted by the Data Dictionary.

The names of the data elements on the characteristics involved (table JBRPHBAUMS, field ROLNM) are found in the same table as the one in which the tree structure of portfolio hierarchies is filed. The content of this field is changed in this program to remain consistent with the name in the Data Dictionary.

This means that in table JBRPHBAUMS, for every record in field FIENM with the content RMBEWREG, the content of field ROLNM is changed (in all clients).

Effects of errors

Errors occuring during execution of this program have no effect on the further upgrade. For this reason, the upgrade should be completed first.

After the upgrade, you can restart the program with no problem.

It is only necessary to execute this program if the characteristic valuation rule was used in portfolio hierarchies (in any client).

If this is the case and the program is not executed correctly, there should still be no major problems in the application (productive operation is possible). The text on the characteristic valuation rule will not be correctly depicted in portfolio hierarchies.
