Description

This program is used to generate ad schedule lines for items with the 'TF' date type (till forbid).
The system selects all order items with this date type and for which no schedule lines have been generated by the required date for schedule line generation.
The booking unit and either a date or a copy number up until which generation should be performed are required as a default for schedule line generation

Generation start date
The start date for the new generation period is determined from the existing ad item. If schedule lines already exist, the generation start date is preassigned using the last schedule line date + 1 day or the respective copy number for this date. If no schedule lines exist, the start date is booked using the start period for the item. If no start period has been specified, the system date or the copy number which corresponds to the system date is used instead.

Generation end date
The end date is booked using the end dates or the end copy number determined using the selection.
If particular booking units are not selected, no schedule lines will be generated for their items.
Following each generation run, the end date or the end copy number are saved for each booking unit in table JHAEGEN. This table is used as the basis for schedule line generation for new 'TF items' that are created in dialog mode.
Checks are made to establish whether a generation end date was already determined for the booking unit in table JHAEGEN. If this is the case, the order will generate schedule lines in dialog up until this end date.

Test run
The checkbox field No DB update can be used to start the program in test mode. In this instance, schedule lines will not be updated and the table JHAEGEN will not be updated.

Requirements

The following data is required for each ad item to ensure that the generation run is successful:

Date type = 'TF'
Booking unit
Business content component
Ad spec number
Date category (C = copy/ D= date)
Date cycle
