Purpose

You can use the program Publications – Collective Order Change(RJH_PUB_CHANGE) to change the publication data for ad items, such as the dates or content components.

Note
The system represents publications (publication dates or copy numbers) using schedule lines.

Integration

You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) Publication Change: Selection (ISM_AM_PUB_CHANGE) to control the orders that the system allows you to change.

The system updates all dependent objects in the order with your changes. It transfers the changes to the follow-on processes and billing functions.

Prerequisites

You can change order items, which contain schedule lines with at least one billing dataset that has not been billed. You cannot change series or package items.

In Customizing for Advertising Management under Sales -> Order -> Sales Document -> Sales Document Item -> Ad Item Type, you have maintained the activity Activate Publication Change.

If you want to specify the change reason for publication changes, in Customizing for Advertising Management under Sales -> Order -> Sales Document -> Sales Document Item -> Ad Item Type, you have maintained the activity Reasons for Publication Change.

Features

You can use the following options for all order types:

  • Change publication dates (or copy numbers)
  • Change content components

Selection

The program offers you comprehensive selection options at the following levels:

  • Order header
  • Order item
  • Publication

You can select changeable publications only or all publications.

Standard Variants

Output

The program presents the selection result in the SAP List Viewer on the following subcreens:

  • Publication Groups
A publication group combines the individual publications for a booking unit that is combined by region or date (see data element TERMINSPEZ). The publication date of the leading basic booking unit (see data element REF_BASIS) in a combined booking unit (see data element E_TERM_KOM) defines the scope of a publication group. If possible, the system creates one billing dataset for each publication group.
  • Schedule Lines for Publication Group

Note
The list of subscreens contains the column Changeability Status. If the system displays a value here, the group or single publication can no longer be changed or the options for doing so are limited. You can for example no longer change the group once you have entered a manual schedule line.

By choosing Single Publications, you can list all schedule lines that match the selection criteria in an ungrouped format on the subscreen at the top of the screen. This means you can change schedule lines independently of a publication group.

Functions for Publication Group

  • Publication Change
You can execute the following functions for selected rows, blocks or for all entries:
  • Change Date or Copy

  • Change Content Component

  • Check (optional)
You can check the changes.
  • Undo
You can undo your changes to selected publication groups if you have not saved.
Note
If you undo changes to the publication group, the system also undoes changes that you have made at the level of the associated schedule lines.
  • Save
Updates the worklist of publication groups and single publications.
You can use various options according to the number of ad items to be edited.
  • Save with Asynchronous Update

Use this option if you are editing a large number of ad items. The system only transfers your changes to the schedule line and billing datasets. Subsequent processes are updated at a later stage (asynchronously) for performance reasons.
Note
The system updates the data when you display or edit the order using a dialog transaction (such as JHA2N) or when you start the report Asynchronous Update of Order Data (RJHAUFAK).
Caution
To ensure that all orders that have been changed are updated completely and in a timely fashion, you must schedule the report RJHAUFAK.
  • Save

Books the order completely.
Use this option for single changes to a specific ad item or a small number of ad items. The system transfers the changes to the publication and subsequent processes.

Functions for Single Publication

You can change dates or copies and undo changes you have made previously. This only applies to changes to a single publication.
