Purpose

You can use report RJKSDQEVENTMNG (transaction JKSDQEVENT) to create, change, and display events in quantity planning for Media Product Sales and Distribution. You can also assign events to certain contracts (media products). You can also use transaction JKSDQEVENT to change the planned sales figures for one or more media issues on a certain date and to adjust the corresponding quantity plan records in table JKSDDEMAND.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Create Events

To create an event, choose 'Create New Event'. You can assign an external or internal event ID. If you do not enter an ID, the system assigns an internal number when you save the data. You must maintain corresponding number range intervals in transaction SNRO for object ISP_EVENTQ.

You can assign attributes and their characteristics to an event. Before you can use these functions, you must maintain attributes and characteristics in Customizing (Release Notes IS-M 4.72).

Choose 'Contracts' to assign contracts to this event ('Find/Assign Contracts' button).

Change Events

You can find and select events using the Locator. Double click on an entry in the list to copy it to the work area. Before you can change this event, you must switch to change mode ('Change/Display' button).

Display Events

To display an event, you must select it using the Locator. Double click on an entry in the list to copy it to the work area.

Copy Events

It is also possible to copy events. Before you can do this, you must generate the results list of events. Click on the event you want to use as the copying template with the right mouse button to select it. The system then displays a dialog box. The system creates a new event when you execute the copy function. You can either assign an event ID manually (by entering an external ID explicitly) or have the system assign it automatically.

Once the event has been created, you can change the media product assigned to it and the publication date. Please note the following when doing so:

  • If you change the media product, all the contract assignments will be deleted
  • If you chang the publication date, the system checks the assigned contracts to determine whether there are planning records that correspond to the new publication date. If the publication dates do not match, the system deletes these assignments.

Change Quantity Planning

You can change the delivery quantities in quantity planning. In this case, you can make a percentage or absolute change. To refresh the quantity planning records, choose 'Refresh Planning Records' on the 'Contracts' tab.

Assignment to Contracts

Choose 'Find/Assign Contracts' on the tab page to make an assignment to certain contracts. You select the contracts in a separate dialog. Once selection has taken place, you must select the desired contracts and exit the selection dialog. You can also delete the assigned contracts again.

Favorites

You can select events processed recently on the 'Favorites' tab.
