RJP_MARA_SEGMENT_COPY - Add Organizational Units to Media Product Master

Purpose

You can use this report to add organizational units (plants or sales areas) to media product master records. The report is only available for media products and media issues.

You use an organizational unit that is already assigned to the media product or issue as a template for creating additional organizational units.

Integration

This report can be used for media products or media issues. Similarly to media issue generation, the media-specific date fields in the new segments are based on the publication date.

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

You can select the media products or issues that you want to extend.

To add plants to the selected media products or issues, you must enter the template plant and the new plants you want to create. (The template plant must already exist for each of the selected media products or issues.)

To add sales areas to the selected media products or issues, you must enter the template sales area and the new sales areas you want to create. (The template sales area must already exist for each of the selected media products or issues.)

If the media issues are industry materials, you can execute the report in a test run.

If the media issues are Retail articles, you can create either a plant or a sales area (but not both) each time you execute the report.

Standard Variants

Output

The system writes a log of this report to the application log. You can display it using report RJP_MARA_SEGMENT_COPY_PROT (Add Organizational Units: Log).

Activities

To access this report, choose Logistics -> Media Sales and Distribution -> Press Distribution -> Master Data -> Media Product Master -> Environment -> Add Organizational Units to Media Product Master on the SAP Easy Access screen.

Example

For example, when you use this report you can simply define one organizational unit explicitly for a media issue and then copy all the remaining organizational units based on this template.
