RJSUSALL - Refresh Structures After Changes to Postal Data

Description

Update Structures

Modifications to postal data may mean that you have to make corresponding changes to the structures (goe-post assignments).

This program determines the structures affected and updates active assignments. Inactive assignments can only be logged and must be processed manually if required.

Output

The activities performed are logged. You can access the logs using the function Display logs (see Change number -> Analysis).

You can also use transaction SLG1 (Evaluate Application Log) to select the logs for object 'JCHNGNR' and subobject 'STRUCTURE'.

Example

A street is divided into several sections, resulting in new streets (street numbers) in the postal data.

This (old) street is then replaced by the new street(s) in all geographical units that contain it (i.e. the old street is closed and the new one(s) added).
