Title

Edit Components

Purpose

This transaction allows you to define the components of media products and media issues and to specify a lead date for shipping and a packaging characteristic for each component.

Features

Selection

You can select a media family or a media product when maintaining the components of media products. When maintaining components of media issues, you can specify a media issue or a media product and an interval of media issues. The media products and media issues then selected are displayed in a structure.

Output

If you generate components of media issues from the transaction for editing components, the system creates a generation log.

Activities

You can add, delete and change components in the transaction. All the functions can be accessed from the context menu (right mouse button). Double click on the assignments to edit them and move components by Drag&Drop.

You can regenerate the components of the media issues via the context menu. When editing components of media issues, the components are generated directly from the accompanying definition of the components of media products. When processing the components of media products, a dialog is displayed at first, where you can restrict the media issues or specify whether or not existing components are to be overwritten for a certain period.
