Purpose

This report generates transportation plans from the data in the IS-M Transportation Planning worklist.

The report determines the transportation planning worklist - primarily, relevant media issues, orders, and contracts - and creates corresponding transportation plan (TP) application data for a specified version using TP master data and visit lists.

The application data created for the version in question is available for use in further processing and are subdivided as follows:

  • Contracts assigned
  • Contracts not assigned
  • Orders assigned
  • Orders not assigned
  • Issues assigned
  • Issues not assigned

Integration

Prerequisites

The transportation planning worklist must be available.

Features

  • Activity for Direct Store Delivery check
  • Check for active plant with regard to IS-M transportation planning
  • Determine worklist, transportation plan master and control data, visit lists
  • Assign version / delivery cycle / truck route to worklist - in other words, generate application data
  • Save application data
  • Format, save, and output log

Selection

  • Shipping date: Date on which shipping takes place for an issue and on which the truck routes used to ship these issues depart from the plant.
  • Version: Key defined in Customizing that can be used for alternative transportation plans per delivery cycle and truck route for a shipping date.
  • Delivery cycle: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Truck route: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Sales organization: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Distribution channel: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Division: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Plant: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Plant-specific material status: Transportation plan application data is only created for these input values.
  • Assignment of missing issues: Indicates that the entry of individual issues is to be taken into account; see entry for media issue.
  • Test run: No changes are made to the database.
  • Overwrite existing records: Existing application data will be overwritten.
  • Media issue: Transportation plan application data is only created for these entries; this is used to generate data subsequently for certain media issues if adjustments are made to master data.
