RKACUM26 - Convert Parob Field From 'Space' to Object Type

Description

The program is used to convert data records in CO. The field partner object is always filled with " " (space) if a partner object is to be allocated without a partner update. (for example, internal orders for which no partner update is specified).

This process reduces the number of posting records to the partner objects (such as cost centers). In cost center reporting, this results in the origin of a posting to be indecipherable.

After the program has run, the origin can be determined based on the object type in the field "PAROB". In reporting, it is possible to differentiate between the various object types (such as order without partner update).

Requirements

The program writes a control record in table TKAUM. If a control record is found for program "RKACUM26", data conversion is ended. The field "Step" contains value "10" if plan data conversion took place. If actual data conversion took place, the field contains the value "15".

Prior to a productive program run, you should save your data.

Output

If you so choose, the coverted object numbers in the file COSS can be logged.
