RKAGJOBL - Fiscal Year Close: Commitment Carryforward

Description

During year-end closing, any commitment values that are still open can be carried forward to the first period of the following fiscal year.

Requirements

For performance reasons, the documents being edited are not blocked while you run the transactions.
In very unfavorable circumstances, this can lead to update terminations.

For this reason, do not process purchase orders from old fiscal years while the program is running.

If you have activated availability control for projects, do not budget projects while the program is running.
The system only updates assigned values. Warnings and error messages from availability control are suppressed.

Output

If you wish, the program generates a detail list showing all the purchase order items carried forward.

Example

A purchase order has the delivery date November 10, 2016. The corresponding commitment is shown in the period November 2016.

When the commitments for the fiscal year 2016 have been carried forward, the commitment is then shown in period January 2017.
