RKE_HDB_SET_MAINTAINANCE_MODE - Report for Change in HANA Reporting Mode

Purpose

You can use this program to deactivate the acceleration of CO-PA for one or more operating concerns due to the temporary absence of SAP HANA (for example, while SAP HANA is undergoing maintenance work). While the acceleration of CO-PA is deactivated, the system reads the CO-PA data from the classic database.

This program can be executed online or stored as a batch job.

Selection

The following single values can be entered:

• Operating concern

For the specified operating concern, the acceleration of CO-PA is temporarily activated/deactivated, and the maintenance mode is set in Customizing.

• Database connection

For the specified database, the system determines the operating concerns that are activated for the acceleration of CO-PA. For the operating concerns found, the acceleration of CO-PA is temporarily activated/deactivated, and the maintenance mode is set accordingly.

You need to specify either an operating concern or a database connection.

Furthermore, you can use the radio buttons Maintenance Mode On (HANA Deactivated) and Maintenance Mode Off (HANA Activated) to control whether the connection to SAP HANA needs to be deactivated temporarily or reestablished.
