RK_PLAN_DEL_ZERO_RECORDS - Delete CO plan records with amount 0 in all periods

Purpose

This data cleansing program deletes all CO plan records that contain zero values in all periods from tables COSP and COSS. Such zero records arise when plan data is deleted, for example, with transaction KP06, if CO totals DataSources such as 0CO_OM_CCA_1_D are used in the delta method. For more information, see SAP Note1999440.

Note:

The deletion program must not be used until all zero records with the last delta are extracted to the BW system. Otherwise, data consistencies will occur in BW.

For this reason, only data with a time stamp (TIMESTMP field) that is older than 2 hours is deleted from COSP and COSS.

For security reasons, the program can only be executed by users who are authorized to use transaction RK_PLAN_DEL_ZERO_REC.

The program works as follows:

First, the lower limit of the time stamp interval is calculated using the deletion date used in the last program run. If the program has never been executed, the current date minus 1 year is used as the lower limit.

Then, the upper limit of the time stamp interval is calculated using the deletion date used in the current program run. If the current date is used as the deletion date, a safety interval of 2 hours is subtracted.

Finally, all data that contains zero values in all periods is deleted from tables COSP and COSS using this time stamp interval.
