Purpose

In the LAPI Cache for a specific namespace, data is inconsistent. For example, technical systems or hosts can be missing. Therefore, you need to start the synchronization from the Landscape Management Database (LMDB) to the LAPI Cache, manually.

Activities

  1. Under Namespace, select the namespace.
  2. Select the type of synchronization. You have the following options:
  • Update: The synchronization is done without clearing the LAPI Cache and the LAPI Cache is still enabled during synchronization.
    Note: To prevent performance issues, it is recommended that you use theUpdate option.

  • Rebuild completely: The LAPI Cache is cleared before synchronization and disabled during synchronization.

  1. Choose Execute.
