RLEXIP01 - Executing IM Postings (Example as Basis for Modification)

Description

This report serves as an example to demonstrate how information that has been posted in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) can be completed by postings in Inventory Managment (IM). In order to keep this sample ABAP understandable and easy to use, the program has been intentionally restricted to IM movement type 501 (goods receipts without a purchase order into unrestricted stock) without creating transfer requirements.

In the standard system, this movement type affects interim storage area 902 and storage bin "GR-AREA" (depending on the language used).

You can select any quants that are listed and then carry out the appropriate goods receipt transaction in IM.

You can process selected quants in the "background", "foreground" or in the "foreground in case of errors".

For other movement types, the corresponding changes must be carried out.The can affect the following:

• Symbol preceding the selected quants

• Stock categories, special stock

• Additional data entries that are required during goods receipts postings

Output

The system confirms the posting of individual quants, and when appropriate, includes them in an error log.
