Purpose

The purpose of this report is to check whether the status of the Online Import is in 'Preparation' or in 'Import' for a long time. One Online Import is supposed to be completed within 10 minutes. If it is running more than one hour there might be something wrong, or someone has forgotten to change the status in table trlfw_oi_phase.

Selection

There are three options in the initial screen: 'Productive Mode', 'Test Mode' and 'Long Running Threshold'. There is no need to change them.

Activities

One possible usage is to run this report periodically (once a day) in a batch job. If it is executed in a batch and the status seems improper, the report creates a short dump, which triggers a batch job cancellation. An administrator will receive a cancellation notification if 'E-Mail Notification' is defined in transaction SM36.
