Purpose

Delete namespaces in the LMDB

Integration

Prerequisites

You have confirmed the need to delete a namespace.

Deleting LMDB namespaces is a critical operation, especially the default namespace (technical name 'active').
When the SAP Solution Manager system has already been used productively, deleting a namespace can have the following consequences, for example:

  • Applications like Incident Management, which rely on master data in the iBase, will experience data inconsistencies.
  • Configurations that are based on landscape data will be broken, for example Monitoring and Alerting and Change Request Management.
