RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM - Sync a Technical System

Purpose

This report can be used to resynchronize a specific technical system from SLD. For further documentation please refer to the LMDB Setup Guide.

Activities

Enter the following parameters:

1. Source SLD:Select the SLD with the correct system description.
2. Target Namespace:Select the LMDB target namespace; in most cases, this would be "active".
3. System Typeand Extended SID:Specify the information identifying the technical system.
4. Detailed Trace:Select this option of you want detailed information on the CIM instances affected by the resynchronization.
5. Simulate (do not save changes):Select this option if you want to check which changes would be performed by a resynchronization without saving those changes. For technical reasons this option cannot be used together with Delete before Resync.
6. Delete before Resync: Choose this indicator to delete the entire technical system description in LMDB before resynchronization from SLD. If you do not choose this indicator, the system carries out a resynchronization without deleting assignments and manually created information. Caution: Selecting this option deletes all data that you entered manually, for example product assignments.

Execute the report.
