RM07CHDX - Conversion Report for Batch Status Management

Description

The report RM07CHDX is used to convert the batch master records when changing the batch level.

In the standard system, number assignment for batches is uniquely defined per material at plant level. If it is configured in Customizing that number assignment for batches is to be carried out at a different level (for example, uniquely at client level), conversion is necessary.

In the process of conversion, the batch records are created in table MCH1 at the new level.

If the same batch number exists several times, the system issues an error log. For this batch, you then have to use movement type 309 (in conjunction with the New Items function) to make a transfer posting from the old batch number to a new batch number.
