RM07RDEL - Archive Materials from AMPL: Deletion Program

Description

The program RM07RDEL deletes from the database the inventory-managed materials (object MM_AMPL) archived by program RM07RARC.

Records are deleted from the following table:

• AMPL (permitted inventory-managed materials)

1. If the program is only for testing purposes, that is you do not want it to actually delete any data, select the option Test mode.
   For this the variant entered in Archiving-Object-Specific Customizing under Settings for the delete program in the field Test mode variant is used.
   (If the test mode option is not selected, then the system will use the variant specified in Archiving-Object-Specific Customizing in the field Production mode variant.)
2. Specify which data should be deleted with the pushbutton Archive selection.
3. Specify when the job should run with the pushbutton Start time.
4. Specify how the delete log is to be processed with the pushbutton Spool parameter.
   (For further information on Spool Management, refer to the "Introduction to the SAP System" in the SAP library under the section "Print".)
5. Select Generate job to create the job with the set values.
   With Environment -> Job Overview, a list of all jobs available for the current archiving program in job management is displayed.
