RMCBNEWD - Setup of Statistical Data BCO

Purpose

This is an auxiliary program for the simplified user guide for setting up statistical data in Inventory Controlling. It is used to minimize the time required for the setup of statistical data, in which no material documents and invoice documents may be recreated or changed. For that reason, the active version (000) is always set up directly. The program calls up statistical setup functions like RMCSISCP, RMCBNEUB, RMCBNEUA and RMCBNERP in the correct sequence. It determines the numbers of the documents that have to be setup in a posting-free time. After the statistical setup of stocks and functions that require an update-free time, a message is issued to show the system administrator that document processing can be released. The program then continues with the statistical setup of the movement data that does not require the parallel user activities to be restricted.

Prerequisites

Note that the data for version '000' of all information structures given in the selection screen is deleted before the statistical setup. The active data is not copied into a backup version. If a backup version is required, you should use the version copier RMCSISCP or the copy management tool.

Features

Selection

You must specify a company code. Only one company code can be specified per program run. However, the program can be started many times, in order to execute the statistical setup for several company codes in parallel.
