Description

Report program RMCHACTB, like report program RMCHACTK, is used to activate planned changes in the vendor master. While report program RMCHACTK activates the changes directly, report program RMCHACTB creates a batch-input session containing the data of the vendors to be activated. A transaction is created in the session for each vendor which was found to have planned and not yet activated changes. If errors occur during activation of individual vendors when the batch-input session is processed, this is logged in the batch-input session and the transactions concerned are marked as unsuccessfully processed. When the batch-input session is reprocessed, only the unsuccessfully processed transactions are executed. If the batch-input session is processed in the foreground, the screens in which the errors occur are displayed, so that the user can respond. Errors may be due to inconsistencies which occur if, for example, there are different consistency requirements at the time of planning and the time of activation.

This program report is intended for the mass activation of vendor data.

Input parameters:

  • Session name: name of the batch-input session
  • User: batch-input user; default: user number
  • Keep session: indicator for keeping processed sessions
  • Lock date: lock session up to the date entered
  • Key date: date up to which the system searches for planned changes which not been activated for vendors.
  • Vendor(s): Vendors for which planned changes are to be activated. If nothing is entered, the system searches for planned changes to all vendors up to the key date.
