RMCLDINU - Copy DIN Standard

Description

This report program is used to:

• Create DIN classes in the SAP System on the basis of DIN standard description records.

• Copy DIN characteristic data records to the SAP System

• Create materials on the basis of characteristic data records and classify them in a DIN class.

Logical Dataset (CLASS_DIN)

The program reads the sequential file you enter and processes the data in it. An allocation of physical file to logical path for CLASS_DIN in all clients can be maintained by choosing F1 - Maintain cross-client file name/path - definition of logical file name.

Because the path is constant, we recommend that you copy the standards file that you want to transfer (with the suffix TAB) to this physical path, and process it there. Otherwise, you need to repeat this procedure for each standard you transfer.

The sequential file can be on your application server, the presentation server, or an external application server. If it is on an external application server, enter the server name. You can display a list of available servers and select one.
