Description

The report RMCWNEUA aids the statistical setup of the information structures in the Retail Information System. Information from several R/3 applications (Inventory Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Purchasing) and from cross-application, retail transactions (SP revaluations) is set up in this information system.

In the selection screen of the report, you can select the respective subarea by placing a cross in the check box. This means the setup only involves those documents belonging to the subarea you selected. At present, data from Material, Purchasing, Sales (billing documents), and SP revaluaton documents is used in the complete statistical setup of the Retail structures.

All documents are read in accordance with the selections you have made and the statistics update is then triggered for these documents. You can also perform a statistics setup from achive documents for those document types that can be archived.

The newly generated data records can be saved to the information structures, either under a preliminary version &xx or directly under the actual data version 000.

Requirements

  1. If the newly generated data records are to be saved directly under the actual data version 000, you need to use RMCWISSC to ensure that the key figures for the respective document type are recovered and reset to zero beforehand to avoid any incorrect values occurring in the information structures concerned.
  2. The statistical setup only functions when the enhancement has been activated for Retail in Customizing beforehand.
  3. To ensure consistency, documents must not be regenerated or modified during the statistical setup.

Note

When dealing with large amounts of data, you should set up each document type individually in order of importance, and start the program as a background job in order to distribute the system load more evenly and avoid peaks.

When you double-click on the checkboxes to select the document type, the selection screen changes in accordance with the document type you selected, i.e. the system only shows the selection criteria specific to that document type.
