Purpose

This report enables you to generate an as-built report for serialized products to get a top-down view of which materials (planned and unplanned) have been consumed in an assembly and in any subassemblies.

Integration

Prerequisites

To make corrections to as-built information, your user must be authorized to:

  • Create component assembly corrections for the order type and plant related to the production order in which the material was assembled. This authorization is controlled by authorization object C_MPE_ASCR (Component Assembly Correction).
  • Perform assembly and disassembly actions for the plant and object type related to the material and production order for which you want to make a correction. This authorization is controlled by authorization object C_SFO_ACTN (Shop Floor Order Execution Action).

Features

The report generates a multilevel view showing which components have been assembled in a specific material and serial number or in a specific production order for a serialized product. On the results screen, you can:

  • Drill down into subassemblies of a parent assembly
  • View material data such as serial number, batch, planned and consumed quantity, effectivity, assembly type, order number, MRS designator, and WBS element, as applicable
  • Display a where-used list for batch materials to see where a batch-managed material has been used in other assemblies
  • Display the phantom hierarchy for components that belong to a phantom assembly.
  • Branch to the genealogy apps
  • Correct serial numbers, batch numbers, and quantities for materials with the following assembly types:
  • Serialized

  • Batch

  • Serialized with Batch

  • Manual

Note: You have the option to perform the assembly correction without posting a goods movement. Only use this option in exceptional cases since it can lead to data inconsistencies.
  • Export the as-built information to a Microsoft Excel file.

Selection

You have the following options on the initial screen:

  • Selection: Here you can select the Order or Material/Serial Number radio button and enter the respective values.
Note: If you enter an order number, it must be for a serialized product.
  • Output: Here you can select whether you want to generate a report showing everything that has been assembled or only what has been assembled up to a specific date.

Standard Variants

Output

The report displays the following results based on the selection parameters:

  • Order
The report shows all the components assembled in the specified production order. You can expand each assembly to display the materials consumed within this assembly, and then drill down further into any subassemblies.
  • Material and serial number
The report shows all the components assembled in the specified material and serial number. You can expand this assembly to display the materials consumed within this assembly, and then drill down further into any subassemblies.
