RMPSP_PART_CLOSE - Close Parts

Purpose

You can use this program to close or recreate parts. During which the program evaluates the closing rules defined in the records.

Integration

Prerequisites

• You have defined closing rules (see IMG activity Define Rules for Automatic Closing of a Part).

• Records are assigned in attribute Closing Part rules.

Features

When the program is run, the closing rules of the folders are evaluated up to the defined closing date (the system date is defined in the standard system.

Depending on the settings of the closing rule, the closing of a part accompanies the creation of a new part. You can override the setting of a closing rule using the indicator Only Close.

You can also enter a future closing date in the field closing date. If you do this, the closing of the part is marked and carried out by the system when the date is reached. SAP recommends that you only run the program with a future closing date during the test run.

Selection

You execute the program for each Records Management system, but the selection can be restricted to individual closing rules.

Standard Variants

Output

The results of the program run are issued as an application log.
