Description

This program adds mass characteristics to an information structure that is to be used for product allocations. Such characteristics are represented by the masking symbol that you maintain in table T190H (the Customizing activity Sales and Distribution → Basic Functions → Availability check and transfer of requirements → Availability check → Availability check against product allocation → Specify hierarchy → Maintain product allocations hierarchy). The individual fields (the characteristic values) are filled in their entire length with this symbol.

The changes are only saved in the database if the Change database switch is set.

This program does not change existing mass characteristics. Such characteristics do not prevent the program from running smoothly.

Requirements

  • The information structure must be suitable for product allocation processing. To find out whether or not an information structure is suitable, run program RMQUOT10.
  • A masking symbol needs to have been maintained for this information structure in table T190H (the Customizing activity Sales and Distribution → Basic Functions → Availability check and transfer of requirements → Availability check → Availability check against product allocation → Specify hierarchy → Maintain product allocations hierarchy).
  • Only one masking symbol has been maintained in table T190H for this information structure.

To check your Customizing settings, run program RMQUOT00.

Output

The system issues a list of all the mass characteristics possible for this information structure, together with the internal names of the characteristics.

Only fully qualified characteristic value combinations are displayed.

The Level column shows the level of the hierarchy in which the mass characteristics begin.

Column Fct (which stands for "function") contains an I if the characteristic values combination is missing in the hierarchy and is to be/has been inserted.

Column Fct contains an i if the characteristic values combination is missing in the hierarchy but has not been/is not to be inserted.

Product allocations processing has no general object (column KONOB). Therefore, the system makes no entry on the first level. However, it is always displayed as missing.

Column Fct contains an X if the characteristic values combination is missing in the hierarchy and no mass characteristic is to be/has been inserted.

The following columns show the characteristics for which you will be able to plan product allocations. These are the characteristics defined in the information structure.
