Purpose

This program connects progress notesof existing documents with the progress documentation for each institution.

The program takes the following documents with progress notes into account:

  • outpatient progress notes
  • nursing progress notes
  • Inpatient progress notes

Notes:

  1. Only the progress notes listed are rocessed by this report.
  2. You can execute this program in a test run. However, the following data changes are effectively saved in the system:
  • If progress notes have no reference to an institution, the program makes an automatic assignment using the context record.

  1. You must execute this report several times until all the progress notes of the existing documents have been migrated.

Integration

Prerequisites

If you wish to execute the program, you must have authorization N_EINR_REP.

Features

The program executes the following steps in sequence:

  • Determine all existing documents with progress notes
  • Assign progress notes without an institution reference to an institution
  • Create a progress document in the progress documentation
  • Connect progress notes with the progress document of the progress documentation
  • Set indicator in documents with progress notes which were successfully connected with a new progress document in the progress documentation

Selection

Institution: The program only takes into account progress notes in this institution
Notes without an institution reference: The report also takes into account progress notes, which are not assigned to an institution or cannot be assigned to an institution. The field is then only displayed if progress notes without an institution reference exist on the current client.
Test Run: The program does not save the following modified data in the database:

  • Create a progress document in the progress documentation

  • Connect progress notes with the progress document of the progress documentation

  • Set indicator in documents with progress notes which were successfully connected with a new progress document in the progress documentation

Standard Variants

Output

Following the runtime the program outputs a summary of the results in the following form:

  • Total number of progress documents to be migrated: Number of all documents with progress notes to be taken into account in the selected institution
  • Processed progress documents: Number of documents with progress notes, for which a progress document was successfully created in the progress documentation in this program run
  • Progress documents already migrated:Number of documents migrated in an earlier program run.
Note that it is possible that the migration from one document may still be incomplete due to the parallel entry of progress notes in i.s.h.med. You should therefore start the subsequent program run with a time delay.
  • Error:Number of documents with progress notes which could not be connected to the progress documentation for the following reasons:
  • Document with progress notes was locked

You can see a detailed log in Business Application Logging using the following selection:

  • Ext. Identifier:,,MIGRATE
