RN2DS_DELETE_DEVICE_DATA - Program RN2DS_DELETE_DEVICE_DATA

Purpose

This program is used to delete temporary entries in table N2DSDEVICE_DATA and to archive this data in the table N2DSDEVICE_ARCH. Using the report RN2DS_COLLECT_ALL_FILES entries from device data are created in a table to be transferred into medical documents at a later stage. Due to the continual growth in this table, performance restrictions when searching for entries may result after a certain period of time. To reduce the size of the table, you can use this report to archive entries according to their date.

Integration

You can schedule this program as a job, which is started once every three months with a variant with dynamic date calculation.

Prerequisites

You should note that, when data is successfully imported from the table N2DSDEVICE_DATA the key of the imported data record is saved in the document, and the data record receives a deletion indicator. As a result, when searching for errors, you can trace back to the deletion of the data record, which data record was imported, and use the deletion process indicator to separate between data which has already been read, and data which has not yet been imported.

Features

You can use test mode to investigate how many entries, with and without deletion indicators, were removed from the database after the relevant date.

Selection

All selection fields are obligatory, it is not possible to use wildcards. The date refers to the creation date of the record, i.e. the date of device data import, not of the examination.

Institution: Here you enter the institution within which the device data fall

Symbolic Destination: This flags the device interface / the device from which the data was imported, you enter the logical device name here

Date Limit with Deletion Indicator: Date until which all records with deletion indicator set are archived, system date - 30 days is preset

Date Limit Without Deletion Indicator: Date until which all records without deletion indicators set are archived, system date - 60 days is preset
