Description
This program allows you to manually change the sequence number of the file for EDI data collection points.
The numbers are generally incremented by the system as soon as a new file is dispatched or received. If an unexpected gap appears in the number sequence, the numbers can or must be brought into line using this auxiliary program.
The numbers are always incremented and can or should only be reset in a test system, since it may not be possible to find reference data as a result. Because all EDI actual data must be archived, dependent data records also must not be deleted.
In view of the significance of these changes, a confirmation prompt is displayed before you actually carry them out. Changes are not made as long as you acknowledge this prompt with "yes".
Requirements
To execute this program, you need the authorization S_PROGRAM with the action SUBMIT for the authorization group specified in the report attributes.
Furthermore, the authorization N_EINR_REP is required for the institutions in question and the report. If this authorization is not available for individual installations, the relevant data is not output and cannot be changed.
A concrete institution and data collection point must always be specified.
Output
A log containing both the old and new number levels is displayed if you have made any changes.
