Description

This program outputs a list of cases for which EDI messages were not created. The cases displayed match the various criteria you specify on the selection screen. The system checks the cases for which no EDI messages were found with the specified message type.

The program checks the following:

  1. Do EDI messages exist for all cases with insurance providers?
  2. If not, it checks whether the insurance providers and data collection points are correct.

Requirements

To execute this program, you need the authorization S_PROGRAM with the action SUBMIT for the authorization group specified in the report attributes.
Furthermore, the authorization N_EINR_REP is required for the institutions in question and the report. If this authorization is not available for individual institutions, the relevant data is not output.

Please make entries in the mandatory fields Institution, Message Type and at least one of the following fields:

  • Case
  • Admission Date
  • Discharge Date

Output

The program outputs a list of cases for which a certain EDI message type was not created. You can sort the list as required and output warnings and information in addition to error messages.

Icon color legend:

  • Red = error
  • Yellow = warning
  • Green = information

The cases are classified in error, warning or information categories according to the following criteria:

Error

  • No insurance relationship (insurance provider or self-payer) is specified for the case.
  • No EDI messages exist for transmission to the respective insurance provider.

Warning

  • No data collection point has been specified.
  • Data collection point is not valid within the specified time frame.

Information

  • Case is a self-payer.
  • Case is excluded from Electronic Data Interchange.
  • Message type is excluded from Electronic Data Interchange.

You can display additional fields (for example, with patient data) via the layout of the SAP LIst Viewer.
To view the error message long text, double-click a line in the list.

Example

With the following selection criteria

  • Institution: 1
  • Message type: AUFN
  • Case: -
  • Admission date: 07/01/07 - 07/31/07
  • Information and warnings also selected,

a list of all of the missing admission messages for cases admitted in July is output. Warnings and information messages are also displayed in addition to error messages.
