Description

This report is intended for use IN THE TEST PHASE ONLY to delete individual messages and message files. SAP does not accept responsibility for any consequences that result from the use of this report.

A special authorization group (N_U3_URM) is assigned to use this report.

Mode 1 is intended for consistent deletion of individual messages. This includes follow-up messages that are to be returned to the sender because of an error. The sequence numbers within a file are adjusted accordingly. If the last message was deleted from a file, the file status record is also deleted.

In mode 2, you can delete a specific file and all of the entries made in other tables on the basis of this file.

Requirements

For reasons of consistency and documentation, you must not delete sent outbound or received inbound messages in production operation. If you do need to do this, please contact the IS-H Hotline, specifying your reason, to obtain the necessary authorization key. The data is deleted permanently from the database.

Output

The number of deleted records (not in test mode) or the number of records that can be deleted (test mode) from the tables is output.
