RNCGEN90 - IS-HCM: Generate All CUSTOMER Message Structures

Description

This report must be called after customer message types or segments have been maintained. It regenerates the segment data retrieval programs from the data contained in the IS-HCM control tables. The report is run automatically after every IS-H upgrade and is always required every time changes are made.

If problems occur during the upgrade phase while the XPRA programs are running you can use program RSXPRAUP to exclude this program from the automatic run during upgrade. You must then start the program immediately upgrade has ended.
You can repeat the execution of this program.

Missing segments are marked as such and cannot be used. In this case, you must correct the segments and regenerate the customer segments (with RNCGEN90).

For performance reasons, the number of unused customer message objects should be kept to a minimum.

Requirements

None. Must always run successfully.

Output

Only a success/failure message is output.

If the report indicates that errored segments are present, they must be found and corrected with the segment maintenance transaction.
