Description

The program checks the building hierarchy to ensure that the assignments of building units to each other and to organizational units is consistent. If no errors are detected for a building unit when the check is run, the system sets the release indicator in the master data of this building unit. This release indicator means that the building unit can be used in the IS-H functions (assignment within a movement, and so on).

Handling of Internal Number Assignment After Switch to OM:

If you have specified internal number assignment for building units, this report assigns numbers to all buidling units that do not have a Patient Management "HC-BE" ID. This is done based on the settings you make in Customizing and applies both to test mode and productive operations.

Requirements

If you set the Test Mode indicator, the program only outputs a log. Release indicators are not set for any building units.
If you run the program in test mode, you can specify which release-relevant information for the building unit that you want to check:

  • If you select the Building Hierarchy indicator, the system checks the hierarchical relationships between the various building units.
  • If you select the Organizational Unit Assignment indicator, the system checks the hierarchical relationships between the building units and organizational units.
  • If you select the Facilities indicator, the system checks the facilities characteristics of the building units.

If you run the program in update mode, you must set all of the indicators to ensure that all of the areas are included in the check.

Output

The program outputs a log containing messages for each of the indicators selected on the selection screen. Warnings (W) and errors (E) can occur:

  • Warnings do not mean that the release indicator cannot be set. They do, however, mean that something has been detected that you should check.
  • Errors mean that the building unit cannot be released. You should check the building units mentioned in the error message text, and correct the errors.

At the end of the log you will see the total number of building units that were released, and the total number of building units that were not released.
