RNUINSPROV_KV_DELETE - IS-H: Program for Deleting HI Insurance Provider Master Records

Purpose

You can use this report to delete entries from previous quarters from table NKTR_KV or to empty the table entirely.

Background

When you create a panel physician association insurance relationship, SAP Patient Management determines the insurance provider data from the PPA insurance provider master file using the outpatient billing system amasys. The system stores this data for the specific quarter in the hidden table NKTR_KV (IS-H: Insurance Provider Master According to Federal PPA from PPA Billing System) in SAP Patient Management so that the insurance provider data is available for PPA billing or for use in creating additional insurance relationships for other cases in the same quarter.

If the system does not find a corresponding entry for an insurance provider and quarter in the hidden table NKTR_KV, it determines the data required using the outpatient billing system amasys. If you accidentally delete more records than you intended or even empty table NKTR_KV entirely, this can never lead to problems in the application.

Integration

Prerequisites

This report is only relevant in the country version Germany and if you use integrated PPA billing with amasys in SAP Ambulatory Care Management.

Features

Selection

You can choose between two radio buttons on the selection screen:

1. Delete by Quarter,,

In the field Number of Previous Quarters for Which No Data Records Are to Be Deleted, you can enter the number of previous quarters (calculated starting with the current quarter) for which the entries in the hidden table are to be retained.

This means you can also schedule the report to run at regular intervals (for example, at the start of each new quarter) to limit the size of the hidden table.

2. Delete All Data Records

Use this option if you want to delete the entire contents of the hidden table.

Example

If you want to delete the entries in the hidden table with the exception of the data from the current quarter, select the Delete by Quarter radio button and enter a zero in the field Number of Previous Quarters for Which No Data Records Are to Be Deleted.

If you want to retain the entries from the current and previous quarter in the hidden table and only delete the entries for earlier quarters, select the Delete by Quarter radio button and enter a 1 in the field Number of Previous Quarters for Which No Data Records Are to Be Deleted.

If you want to delete the entire contents of the hidden table, select the Delete All Data Records radio button.
