RNUMKAT3 - IS-H: Create Material Proposal for Organizational Units
PERFORM Short Reference BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Description
This program generates a material proposal for an organizational unit. The material proposals are generated either from previous material requisitions, catalogs or CO documents.
Generation From Catalogs
The program reads all of the catalogs that are assigned to the organizational unit. An entry is made in the material proposal for every entry in the material catalog.
Generation From Previous Material Requisitions
The program reads the previous material requisitions in the database, and then sorts them according to frequency. You control the number of entries in the by means of the parameter Number of material proposals by OU.
Generation from CO Documents
All CO documents are imported that were caused by goods receipt or goods issue for the cost center in the selection screen. The documents are sorted by material and request frequency. The number of entries can be controlled by the Number of Material Proposals per OU.
CO documents can only be generated if IS-H and CO are within the same system.
Determination of Quantity and Unit of Measure in Material Proposal
For generation from catalogs the proposed quantity is taken from the material catalogs.
For generation from previous material requisitions and CO documents, the quantity and unit of measure are determined as follows:
- The system determines the quantity and unit of measure of a material requested most often. If there is more than one quantity ordered with the same frequency, the one with the lower material number is taken.
- If no quantity was requested more than once, the quantity and unit of measure are taken from the material catalog.
Recreate Extract
The Recreate Extract Only radio button enables you to use the report to recreate the extract on which the display is based in the OU-related material requisition.
