Purpose

You use this report to reconcile the stock on vehicles. The report displays the left-on-vehicle (LOV) entries that:

  • are currently active
  • have been deleted (adjusted by posting to scrapping)

You can select an active left-on-vehicle entry and adjust the entry by posting the quantity of the material to scrapping. Once a left-on-vehicle entry has been adjusted, the entry is marked for deletion and the quantity of left-on-vehicle shown for the nomination in the Nomination-Maintain (transaction O4NM) is 0with a gain/loss document number shown below it in the Processing tab.

Once an active left-on-vehicle entry has been adjusted, it cannot be undone using the report.

Selection

You can restrict the selection via vehicle and transportation planning point on the selection screen. You can also check for certain shipments by number or by the loading date.

Posting Parameters

You can do the following:

  • Choose whether to generate the gain/loss posting.
  • Set the posting and the document date if a material document has to be created. For the gain or loss movement you can set the Movement Type. A reason code for the movement is necessary according to Materials Managemt (MM) Customizing. If nothing is specified, 551 Movement Type is used for loss and 552 Movement Type is used for gains.
  • Want to see a list of differences and check the related shipments before posting. If the simulation mode is on (marked with X) then no material document is generated and the reconciliation is not recorded in the shipment data.

Standard Variants

Output

You can do the following:

  • See a list of the left-on-vehicle entries that are present and have not yet been adjusted.
  • Select multiple entries from the list of left-on-vehicle entries and then from the Edit menu, select Post Gain/Loss. If simulation is not active, a material document is created with the appropriate movement type and it updates the database.
  • View the already adjusted records by going to the Goto menu and selecting Adjusted Records. It shows the adjusted left-on-vehicle entries. To again view the left-on-vehicle entries, from the Goto menu, select LoV Entries.
