ROOLMB06 - Simulation of Automatic Account Assignments: Invoice Verification

Description

The report enables you to simulate the automatic account assignment of invoice verification transactions/events for a specific application area. Whereas you define each simulation scenario with the SAP transaction OMR0, the report performs all simulations defined via the select options for plant, valuation class, and transaction/event type.

If the selection contains several transaction/event types, the simulation results for the material-independent transaction/event types are displayed first. They are followed by the simulation results for all material-dependent transaction/event types (per selected valuation class).

You can limit the output to faulty simulations only. In addition, you can specify whether or not to check account references in FI. To enable immediate corrections, account assignment errors are both displayed on each individual simulation screen and summarized for the entire simulation run at the end of the report.

The report also allows you to generate information about the usage of accounts. For example, if you enter '3*' in the field 'Use of accounts', the system displays only simulations that contain at least one corresponding account reference. These references are highlighted on the screen.

Unlike the simulation with transaction OMR0, the report only supports selection via the selection criterion 'valuation class' and not via 'material number'. Furthermore, only data stored in the database is referenced, whereas the simulation with transaction OMR0 also takes account references into account that have been maintained but not saved yet.
