Description

You can use this report to create planned or completed applicant actions for several applicants at the same time. You can create either the same actions for all the applicants in your selection list, or different actions for each. Applications are selected on the initial screen of the report and listed in the form of a table control. The applicant actions are then created from this list.

Output

The applications selected on the initial screen are shown as a table control. If an applicant has applied more than once, then all the applications entered for this applicant will appear in the list.

The table control contains the following data:

applicant number
applicant's name
date of receipt of application
action created
error message
personnel area
personnel subarea
applicant group
applicant range
applicant's overall status
status reason
unsolicited application group
job advertisement
number (if applicant has more than one application on the same day)

You can use further selection criteria on the initial screen to restrict the amount of applications that appear on the list.

Note: If you specify a date in the Receipt of application field, the system will only select applications that were received on this day. If you specify a date in the Data selection key date field, the system will only select data records that are valid on the day in question.

Procedure

In the table control, select the applications for which you wish to create applicant actions. You have two options for mass processing applicant actions:

  • If you wish to create different applicant actions for the applications you have selected, choose Planned individual actions or Completed individual actions as required. Dialog boxes will then appear (one after the other) for each of the applications selected. Enter data as required. The values you enter in a dialog box will be proposed as the default values for the next dialog box.
Result: A different action was created for each of the applications selected.
  • If you wish to create the same action for all the applications selected, choose Planned mass actions or Completed mass actions. A dialog box appears. Enter data as required.
Result: The action has been created for all the applications selected.

If you cancel when creating actions in mass processing, then the actions will not be created for any of the applications selected. If you cancel when creating actions in individual processing, then an action will not be created for the one application in question only.

If you create several actions after each other for an application, only the last action created is displayed in the Action created column.

Example

You want to invite applicants who applied in response to a specific job advertisement to a test session. On the selection screen, enter the job advertisement in question as a selection criterion. The job applications that are selected are displayed in a table control. Select those with the appropriate overall status (for example Processing) and choose Planned mass actions. A dialog box appears. Enter the activity type Invitation to test, the perform date (date of execution) and a standard text. Enter further data if and as required.
Result: The planned action Invitation to test has been created for the job applications selected.
